So, open up Adobe Lightroom to start working and I hit a permission issue. Oops. This is something I haven’t encountered before.
3. The OSX Terminal solution using a script downloaded from Adobe
There are some solutions. The first was to navigate to some specific folders and change the permissions to read and write. These are already set up on the folder for my admin so that didn’t solve the problem.
One of the last solutions was to download a script to run in Terminal (Mac OSX) to fix the issue. I don’t like messing in the terminal app, however, I needed a solution. I run terminal and drag the script onto Terminal. It runs and Lightroom is able to start up.
